The problem of quadrupole noise prediction from helicopter rotor blades is treated through a volume integration, following the technique based on the acoustic image of the source. The problem of multiple emission times is also addressed, trying to optimize the numerical solution. Then, a brief discussion about the methodology is proposed, in order to point out the advantages and the perspectives of this particular approach.

Abstract
The problem of quadrupole noise prediction from helicopter rotor blades is treated through a volume integration, following the technique based on the acoustic image of the source. The problem of multiple emission times is also addressed, trying to optimize the numerical solution. Then, a brief discussion about the methodology is proposed, in order to point out the advantages and the perspectives of this particular approach.File in questo prodotto:
