This report describes some numerical procedures developed to determine the noise signature generated by an helicopter tail rotor and to analyse the scattering phenomena due to the presence of the fuselage. based on the governing Ffowcs Williams-Hawkings equation, the proposed algorithms are tested on soma simple geometrical configuration, in view of the availability of numerical and experimental results provided within the IMT project HELIFLOW.
