Abstract
The basic mechanism underling the generation of average poloidal ion flows driven by the radiofrequency (RF) in a collisionless tokamak plasma are studied by means of kinetic Vlasov-Maxwell numerical simulations. The physics of the interation between an eletrostatic ion cyclotron wave and an ion gyrating in its Larmor orbit is interpreted by the light of the mementum conservation of the injected wave.File in questo prodotto:
