Off axis deposition of SmBaCuO superconducting films is analyzed and compared to the in axis deposition. The SmBaCuO films are grown by pulsed laser deposition with a Nd-Yag laser with l= 532 nm. The films are epitaxially grown on different substrates and have a zero resistance critical temperature higher than 87 K.
