Abstract
We report here a description of the new performances recently added to the thermal backscattering spectrometer IN13 at the Institut Laue Langevin (ILL). A first major upgrade of the instrument was performed during the last years, leading to higher neutron flux and improvement of instrument versatility. A new upgrade of the instrument is now under way in order to increase the competitiveness of IN13 instrument while preserving its unique energy resolution and large Q-range. The scientific impacts of the new instrument performance are here discussed.File in questo prodotto:
