This paper is dedicated to the relations between the Italians and the Argentines in a range of about a century, from the early XXth to the Present day, with a special attention to the First Centenary of the Argentine's Revolutions of May (1910). Such relations are observed by means of two kinds of sources: the works of Italian travelers in Argentine, and the articles of Italian, Argentine and Italian-Argentine newspapers. The main purpose is to identify what type of mutual images there were in the two Countries, and what kind of Italian heritage survives today in Argentine

Abstract
