Abstract

Temperature can influence the processes involved in the interactions between chemical sensors and vapour molecules and therefore change the sensing properties of the sensors and the recognition process of a chemoresistor-based electronic nose. In order to optimise the operating conditions of our device, the effect of temperature on the performance of an Electronic Nose (e-nose) based on an array of conducting polymer sensors was investigated.
