The city of Genoa has been a great source of inspiration for any kind of artist during the century. Through a close analysis of a corpus made out the lyrics of about thirty singer-songwriters, this essay aims to trace a "musical geography" of its cultural and territorial identity, focussing on the waterfront and its surroundings.
La città di Genova è stata una grande fonte di ispirazione per ogni tipo di artista nel corso del secolo. Attraverso un'attenta analisi di un corpus di testi di una trentina di cantautori, questo saggio si propone di tracciare una "geografia musicale" della sua identità culturale e territoriale, concentrandosi sul lungomare ed i suoi dintorni.
