The WISARD weightless neural network model is able to produce "mental" images (prototypes), i.e., pictorial representation of what it has learnt. "Mental" images have been mainly used in AI verification and explanation processes. This work proposes the deployment of "mental" images into the computa- tional process carried out on the classification and/or clustering goal of the target AI system. "Mental" images carry valuable implicit information that highly contribute in the improvement of the resulting system performance. In order to validate this approach, examples in very different domains are pro- vided.
