An alternative approach to the problem of evaluating traversal time in macroscopic quantum tunneling is presented, in which a transition-elements analysis derived from the path integral method developed by Feynman–Hibbs is adopted. This method has demonstrated its capability of interpretation in a variety of cases.

Abstract
