Mononuclear, homobinuclear and heterobinuclear complexes of copper(II), nickel(Il) and uranyl(VI) with acyclic and symmetric and/or asymmetric cyclic ligands derived from 2, 6-diformyl-4-chlorophenol and polyamines of the type NH2(CH2)2X(CH2)2 NH2 and/or ethylenediamine are reported together with their physico-chemical properties and catalytic activity in the oxidation of 3, 5-di-t-butylcatechol to 3, 5-di-t-butylquinone. Abstract

Coordination site change and transmetallation reactions have also been investigated by X-ray crystallography and scanning electron microprobe techniques. © 1986.
