At present in Italy a national programme is being carried out aimed at introducing computer science and its technologies in the mathematics course of the first two years of upper secondary school (age 14-16). Paper B refers to the training of trainers and discussed the way in which this training programme is realized and its drawbacks. in particular, the approach is analysed to see if it is effective in meeting both the teachers' expectations and the needs for developing correct directions in teaching.
