Hexagonal ordered arrays of microsized (1-1.5 ?m diameter) electroluminescent spots have been obtained by using an innovative approach in the fabrication of organic light emitting diodes. Polymer self-organisation provides the ordered pattern and soft lithography replicates the latter onto the desired electroluminescent polymer, exhibiting red, green and blue emission. Any conventional photolithographic technique is avoided, opening new perspectives in the field of high resolution microdisplays and detectors.

Abstract
Hexagonal ordered arrays of microsized (1-1.5 ?m diameter) electroluminescent spots have been obtained by using an innovative approach in the fabrication of organic light emitting diodes. Polymer self-organisation provides the ordered pattern and soft lithography replicates the latter onto the desired electroluminescent polymer, exhibiting red, green and blue emission. Any conventional photolithographic technique is avoided, opening new perspectives in the field of high resolution microdisplays and detectors.File in questo prodotto:
