Abstract
Complexes of the Eu3+ and Tb3+ ions with a novel branched macrocyclic ligand containing 2,2'-bipyridine and 9-methyl-1,10-phenanthroline subunits have been synthesized and their photophysical properties have been studied. Interestingly, the presence of phenanthroline subunits in the branches gives rise to enhanced electronic absorption and increased stability in water.File in questo prodotto:
