The work considers from a stylistic and iconographic point of view the Satyr and Dolphin Group, a Faliscan Red-Figure Group, identified by J.D. Beazley. The satyr on dolphin iconography, whic is related to that of the Dolphin-Rider (the warrior on the dolphin and the shipwreck victim saved by the dolphin of Greec and Southern Italy, may be explained both as allusion to the symposium and as symbol of the voyage to the Isles of the Blessed.
