A procedure was developed to reconstruct a chaotic attractor and to make local prediction on a chaotic temporal series. It has been tested on many well-known chaotic systems. This algorithm also computes the embedding dimension of the system generating the time series. After many tests, it was used on real electrocardiographic signals.
