Abstract
The inhibition of mild steel corrosion in aqueous acids by combinations of an unsaturated and a peroxy compound is described, with special attention paid to the methacrylonitrile-K2S20 s system. A modified polymethacrylonitrile film is formed on the metal surface which slows down both the anodic and cathodic partial reactions. Inhibiting efficiencies are near 99%.File in questo prodotto:
