Abstract

The chrystallochemical transformations in clays have been studied by Electronic Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) in the temperature range 573-1073K. The results obtained indicate an obvious connection between the paramagnetism of clays and organic impurities in terms of iron ions of different valency, structure, content and a phase state.
