The quantitative analysis of aminophylline, methylprednisolone-21- hemisuccinate and furosemide in perfusional solution by capillary electrophoresis is described. The electrophoretic runs performed in phosphate buffer at pH 8 allowed the separation of aminophylline, methylprednisolone- 21-hemisuccinate and furosemide. In order to improve the selectivity of the separation of the three drugs from their degradation products, the background electrolyte was supported with 30 mM of sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS). Reproducibility standard deviations of migration times and peak area ratios (internal standard method was used for quantitation) were in the range 0.25%- 2.98%. UV spectra have been made in order to confirm the identity of the degradation products.
