Proton ENDOR spectra of randomly oriented [MoOCl4(S)]- complexes, with S = H2O, CH3OH, C2H5OH, and CH3CHO, have been measured at ?15 K. Complete hyperfine coupling parameters have been obtained for the hydroxyl and aldehydic protons, as well as for some of the alkyl hydrogens. Structural information concerning coordination of the solvent molecules has been obtained in the limit of the point dipole approximation. Resonance lines ascribable to the presence of an ordered secondshell solvation sphere have been detected in the spectrum of the methanol solvate.
