Abstract

Although all-Mach methods have been presented in the past, the usefulness of a numerical model specially suited for low-Mach combustion is generally agreeable, given the wide specific application field. In this work, a recently proposed new model is employed that is meant to be especially efficient in the numerical simulation of low-Mach flows with strong thermai expansion due to heat transfer and/or chemical reactions. A variant is introduced to substantially improve the treatment of advective terms, following a recent proposal.
