Abstract
The fifth virial coefficient is computed of a binary mixture composed of diOEerent-size hard spheres with additive diameters. The irreducible cluster integrals are evaluated numerically using the Monte Carlo method. It is found that the fifth virial coefficient becomes slightly negative for very diOEerent sizes of the two species in a regime of high dilution of the larger-sphere component.File in questo prodotto:
