Abstract
The trophic structure and related indices were investigated to assess the microplankton functionality in Engraulis encrasicolus (Chordata: Actinopterygii, Clupeiformes) spawning area of the Sicilian Channel. The integrated analysis of trophic parameters and correlated indices (C/N, N/P, POC/LAP+?GLU, POC/Chl-a) highlighted both the heterogeneity and the dynamism of the planktonic communities.File in questo prodotto:
