Planet Earth is a small spaceship that travels in the infinity of the Universe. Its seven billion passengers use the resources contained in the spaceship's hold at an unsustainable rate. During the last century, the extensive use of fossil fuels has prompted an unprecedented economic development of some regions of the planet, but now this is compromising the stability of the biosphere. Will mankind successfully undertake the challenge to progressively abandon fossil fuels and move towards a civilization based on renewable energies and sustainable technologies?
La Terra è come una piccola astronave che viaggia nell'infinità dell'universo. E' abitata da 7 miliardi di persone che consumano le risorse naturali della "stiva" a ritmi ormai insostenibili. Nel corso degli ultimi 100 anni, lo sfruttamento intensivo dei combustibili fossili ha permesso uno sviluppo economico senza precedenti in alcune zone del pianeta, arrivando però a minacciare la stabilità stessa della biosfera. Riuscirà l'umanità a vincere l'immensa sfida di abbandonare progressivamente i combustibili fossili per avviarsi verso una civiltà basata sulle energie rinnovabili e le tecnologie sostenibili?
