The problem of school abandonment is grave from many viewpoints, such as social and economic consequences and possible future troubles of young students left alone and, very often, without a job. School itself is experiencing a long and serious crisis, involving fund lacking and a strong gap between technologies that students will be required to master in their working life and competences that their teachers are not helped to acquire. Teachers often devote big efforts to autonomous self-training, but this is not enough. In this paper, a proposal is made about training trainers in Telematics, so as to achieve two goals: on the one hand, helped by professionals, teachers can acquire appropriate competences and see the computer and its functionalities in its natural context of several computers interconnected. On the other hand, each teacher in his or her discipline will be able to use computers and the Internet to enhance learning processes, help students understand that using computers is fundamental to find most jobs. In addition, Information and Telecommunication Technologies (ICT) being very appealing to young students, teachers can adopt a more interesting approach to studying, give students the awareness to be prepared for the future work market and school would in all probability become more appealing to those in trouble.

Abstract
In addition, Information and Telecommunication Technologies (ICT) being very appealing to young students, teachers can adopt a more interesting approach to studying, give students the awareness to be prepared for the future work market and school would in all probability become more appealing to those in trouble.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
