Cu-Mo mineralization in Hercynian Granitoids from Ogliastra were studied by a multidisciplinary approach. Field investigations pointed out that the ores occur as disseminations and/or veins inside the magmatic bodies in contact with the Paleozoic metasediments. Geophysical data showed a very good correspondence between the occurrences and locations of the magnetic/electromagnetic maxima and minima. Geochemical data indicate that occurrences are in relation with the hydrothermal alteration of the granitoid rocks, which resulted mainlyin a loss of K, and associated elements as Rb and Ba, and, conversely, an addition of Ca, Mg, Fe, Mn.The origin was controlled by heritage phenomena which involved the pre-Hercynian basement.

Abstract
Cu-Mo mineralization in Hercynian Granitoids from Ogliastra were studied by a multidisciplinary approach. Field investigations pointed out that the ores occur as disseminations and/or veins inside the magmatic bodies in contact with the Paleozoic metasediments. Geophysical data showed a very good correspondence between the occurrences and locations of the magnetic/electromagnetic maxima and minima. Geochemical data indicate that occurrences are in relation with the hydrothermal alteration of the granitoid rocks, which resulted mainlyin a loss of K, and associated elements as Rb and Ba, and, conversely, an addition of Ca, Mg, Fe, Mn.The origin was controlled by heritage phenomena which involved the pre-Hercynian basement.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
