The research aims to the study of coumarin and furocoumarin derivatives of Magydaris pastinacea at antifungal activity for the purpose of a possible application of topical type. The experimental part is enriched by statistical analysis of the results obtained have been interpreted. Strains of Candida albicans analyzed have shown an important effect of a coumarin, the ostolo, and a furocoumarin, the bergapten with IC50 respectively 170 and 56 mg/ml. By analyzing the results it was possible to begin a study of structure-activity relationships regarding the compounds of Magydaris pastinacea at antifungal activity and it seems that the substitution in C8 of coumarin derivatives and furocoumarin is crucial in order to explain the activity. The argument is relevance to the issue raised and completeness of information concerning the chemistry of the active ingredients in drugs

Abstract
The argument is relevance to the issue raised and completeness of information concerning the chemistry of the active ingredients in drugsI documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
