Elia de Palmas. La professione di diplomatico ecclesiastico durante un periodo di mutamento a cavallo tra XIV e XV secolo.

The years between the fourteenth and the fifteenth centuries were years of general upsetting and change in Europe in particu-lar in the Crown of Aragon and in the vari-ous areas related to, such as the Kingdom of Sardinia and the Giudicato of Arborea. During these years into the high diplo-matic domain between different institu-tional entities moves a clergyman: Elia de Palmas. In the light of various documenta-tion, we outline the first biographical fea-tures of a direct witness and actor of con-temporary change in progress.

Gli anni a cavallo tra il XIV e il XV secolo sono anni di sconvolgimento e mutamento generale in Europa e in particolare nella Corona d'Aragona e nei diversi territori le-gati a essa, come il Regno di Sardegna e il Giudicato d'Arborea. Durante questi anni nelle alte sfere diplomatiche tra diverse en-tità istituzionali si muove un ecclesiastico: Elia de Palmas. Alla luce di diversa docu-mentazione, si delineano i primi tratti bio-grafici di un testimone e attore diretto del mutamento coevo in corso.
