Abstract
The present investigation is concerned with the pattern of incorporation of radioactivity from D-U 14C glucose into the total sugars of the polysaccharides synthesized in different regions of pea root-tips. The results show an excellent example of metabolic and biochemical differentiation in which the biosynthetic pathways are continuously modulated at cellular level as growth and differentiation proceeds.File in questo prodotto:
