Abstract
In situ diffraction studies of structural transformations occurring during thermal decomposition of cobalt trifluoride - CoF3 - were performed by using a very-high-energy (89 keV) synchrotron radiation. The real-time evolution of the crystal lattice was followed as a function of temperature. A new compound appearing as intermediate in the course of the decomposition from CoF3 to CoF2 was discovered.File in questo prodotto:
