We have prepared granular Fe thin films by means of an ablation device working under Ar atmosphere. AFM images of the as-depoited films revealed a steady increase (from 13 up to 25 nm) of the average particle size associated to the increase of the deposition time. The relaxation behaviour of the samples showed that the magnetic viscosity was close to independent of the measuring demagnetizing held in a broad held range, which can be interpreted in terms of the occurrence of interparticle interactions.

Abstract
We have prepared granular Fe thin films by means of an ablation device working under Ar atmosphere. AFM images of the as-depoited films revealed a steady increase (from 13 up to 25 nm) of the average particle size associated to the increase of the deposition time. The relaxation behaviour of the samples showed that the magnetic viscosity was close to independent of the measuring demagnetizing held in a broad held range, which can be interpreted in terms of the occurrence of interparticle interactions.File in questo prodotto:
