The Geo-Business Intelligence or Localization Intelligence is a collection of technologies that combines Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Business Intelligence (BI) for evaluation of the results achieved, planning and decisionǦmaking. The merging of these two technologies, by connecting large amounts of data, provides a powerful visualization system able to combine useful government and enterprises information with GIS systems. We present a methodology called Smart Data Localization (SDL) to promote the development of a Decision Support Systems (DSS) based on Geo-Business Intelligence oriented for environmental and territorial data. Consequently, It will be shown how SDL encompasses efforts to improve the Quality of Life (QoL).
