The research project SID@GRID aims to develop a Decision Support System (DSS) for the planning and management of the water resource. The SID@GRID system architecture is based on the integration of a geographically based Data Base, hydrological models and a Geographical Information System (GIS) able to load and organize data, prepare and parametrize a simulation run and display and analyze the result.
