This document presents coordinated effort towards establishing the relevancy and representation of serious game mechanics (SGM) through a series of workshops. The findings suggest that the process-purpose-structure methodology (PPSM) is generic but yet allow a systematic approach to map and analyse the link between pedagogical practice and game mechanics in serious games. Additionally the PPSM could potentially be employed to establish reusable assets for SG design.
