Pervasive real-time tele-monitoring is a very helpful technology to remotely monitor the vital parameters of patients and ensure mobility of both patient and doctor. In the present paper we describe a pervasive multi-parametric and multi-patients tele-monitoring system designed for a cardiac department of a Hospital to process and display in a graphical user interface many physiological parameters such as Electrocardiogram, Heart Rate, Breathing Rate, SpO2, Activity, Posture and Temperature. This system is able to analyse in real time all parameters for more patients simultaneously using a rule-based DSS and if any of the vital parameters goes out of its normal range, the system generates visual and sounds alerts for a well-timed medical intervention. Finally all monitored parameters are saved in EDF files that could be used for further analysis.
