Abstract
OLI-PHA proposes to recover and re-use olive mill wastewater (OMWW) as culture medium for growing polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA)-microorganism producers. Prior using OMWW in the biotechnological process, a treatment for removing and recovering polyphenols from OMWW is required to preserve strains. The final application of the PHA is for packaging, with a surface functionalization based on the extracted high antioxidant strength polyphenols.File in questo prodotto:
