The archeological site of Sabratha (Libya) extends over a coastal strip of about 3 km and in land for about 500 m. In the last century the study of this area has produced several surveys. This has triggered the need to establish a topographical network in order to set a geographical frame of the surveys, i.e. to define the set of absolute points which the previous and future works can be referred to. These points will also be used to establish sub-networks for more detailed and independent surveys. In this work we have established a unique and coherent frame beginning from the zone of theatre, the early Christian graves at North-East and the basilicas at East up to the Isis temple, which has been then linked to the great catacomb at about 600 m East. The full work has been set on a local system and then as a whole mounted in the European Datum 50 projection grid of the international WGS84 ellipsoid.
