We have raised a polyclonal antibody against a synthetic peptide chosen within the deduced sequence of the myotonic dystrophy gene product. This antibody binds to a protein whose molecular weight is in the range of 50-54 kDa in Western blotting of rat, rabbit and human muscles. Biochemical studies seem to indicate that this protein is a peripheral component of sarcoplasmic reticulum as well as of plasma membrane. (C) 1994 Academic Press, Inc.

Abstract
We have raised a polyclonal antibody against a synthetic peptide chosen within the deduced sequence of the myotonic dystrophy gene product. This antibody binds to a protein whose molecular weight is in the range of 50-54 kDa in Western blotting of rat, rabbit and human muscles. Biochemical studies seem to indicate that this protein is a peripheral component of sarcoplasmic reticulum as well as of plasma membrane. (C) 1994 Academic Press, Inc.File in questo prodotto:
