Sublimation enthalpies of neodymium trichloride, tribromide and triiodide were measured by using torsion vapor pressure effusion method. The vaporization and sublimation enthalpies of the given compounds were determined by using second and third law treatment of the pressure data. The results showed that the enthalpies obtained by the second-law method for all compounds in solid phase were higher than those derived by the third-law treatment of the experimental data.

Abstract
Sublimation enthalpies of neodymium trichloride, tribromide and triiodide were measured by using torsion vapor pressure effusion method. The vaporization and sublimation enthalpies of the given compounds were determined by using second and third law treatment of the pressure data. The results showed that the enthalpies obtained by the second-law method for all compounds in solid phase were higher than those derived by the third-law treatment of the experimental data.File in questo prodotto:
