The creation of a pan-European area of Justice is one of the leading policies of the EU: to this aim the development of e-Justice ser- vices across Europe has been promoted within the e-CODEX project. In this paper an overview of the e-Justice platform architecture developed by e-CODEX, as well as the semantic solution conceived to transmit busi- ness documents in the domain of Justice within a scenario characterized by different languages and different legal systems, are described.
