This study is part of the ACARISS Project promoted in Italy by the Region of Tuscany with the aim of developing innovative approaches for improving learning of the scientific disciplines and enhancing talents of students. The objective of the present study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the intervention for promoting career choice in the scientific field. The present work evaluated the effectiveness of the intervention using a pre and post-experimental design with a control group. Attitudes towards science, career decision-making difficulties, career decision-making self-efficacy were investigated. The results showed the effectiveness of the intervention highlighting an increase of positive attitudes towards science, of career decision-making self-efficacy and a reduction of career decision-making difficulties.
