MITICA SAFETY CONCEPTUAL DESIGN REPORT

This report should present the conceptual design of the MITICA Safety System. Being the majority of th e MITICA Safety fully integrated and included in the PRIMA S afety System, the design of the Safety System neces sary to operate only SPIDER contains more than the conceptu al design of the Safety System to operate MITICA. This is why it is assumed that the content of this report is considered fully integrated in the SPIDER Safety detailed design report (T3.12/P1 - SPIDER Safety Detailed De sign Report). Nevertheless, it is useful to maintain and issue th is report separated from the PRIMA/SPIDER one, in l ine with the report of SPIDER itself, so that in the next report s it will be possible to describe in detail (if nec essary) the design of the part of the Safety System specific for MITICA. Aiming to give better evidence at the concept above , page 2 reports the scheme of the overall PRIMA sa fety system, as in the SPIDER safety report.
