This document contains the technical specification for the procurement of the Central Interlock System for the SPIDER test bed in the ITER Neutral Beam Test Facility. The SPIDER Central Interlock System takes care of the global functions of equipment protection during the operation of the SPIDER test bed, providing continuous monitoring of abnormal events, automated protection actions on plant units, and logging of events and data relevant for SPIDER equipment protection. The SPIDER Central Interlock System is required to perform slow and fast protection f unctions. The SPIDER Central Interlock System also provides interlocking functions on the basis of a predefined set of SPIDER operation states. The SPIDER Central Interlock System neither manages nor implements any function related to Personnel Safety.
