In recent years the regeneration of many historic centres in China has been promoted through interventions linked to street's upgrading, development and regeneration. The cases of Nanluoguxiang and Qianmen in Beijing, of Tianzifang and Xintiandi in Shanghai, of Kuanzhaixiangzi in Chengdu, or of Pingjiang in Suzhou, are only some among the most well known cases. The aim of this contribution is to promote a comparative overview of conservation aand regeneration policies and strategies in China and Italy, focusing the attention of the Italian case study on Rome.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
