The distribution, qualitative composition and the enzymatic profiles of the heterotrophic bacterial flora inhabiting the waters and sediments of the estuarine area of an Artic river (Pasvik river) were studied during two seasonal periods (May and July 2014). Densities were in the order of 10^2-10^3 CFU/ml and 10^5-10^7 CFU/g in waters and sediments, respectively. The microflora was composed mostly by Gram negative cocci, characterized by diversified metabolic spectra.

Abstract
The distribution, qualitative composition and the enzymatic profiles of the heterotrophic bacterial flora inhabiting the waters and sediments of the estuarine area of an Artic river (Pasvik river) were studied during two seasonal periods (May and July 2014). Densities were in the order of 10^2-10^3 CFU/ml and 10^5-10^7 CFU/g in waters and sediments, respectively. The microflora was composed mostly by Gram negative cocci, characterized by diversified metabolic spectra.File in questo prodotto:
