In this paper we outline preliminary results obtained on a MCFC monocell. A description is given of the results obtained from experiments at 893 K, which were carried out without replenishing the electrolyte. In order to identify the structural and morphological changes, extensive analyses were conducted on the anode, cathode matrix, and hardware. The pore volume distribution was determined using a microstructure porosimeter C. E. Model 2000.
