With the Judgment No. 28 of 18 October 2013, the Military Tribunal of Rome handed down an historic decision on Nazi massacres occured in the Greek island of Cephalonia after the Armistice of Cassible of 8 September 1943. In particular. the article focuses on the legal classification of the killings, in particular, in the light of international humanitarian law.
