A gas sensor array based on SnO(2) and In(2)O(3) thin films prepared by sol-gel method and deposited on Si-micromachined substrates was configured. The array was calibrated to the detection of low concentration of some gas species (NH(3), DMA, TMA) considered markers of fish deterioration. The work aims to select a suitable multisensor system fulfilling the task of gas detector in a gas-chromatographic miniaturized system developed in "Gooffood" FP6 Integrated Project (FP6-IST 508774-IP).
