Kaolin deposits and a wide range of hydrothermal minerals occur at Tresnuraghes district. As the hydrothermal processes could be related to epithermal precious metal deposition, spatial/temporal zonation of the newformed minerals was studied in order to recognize the economic potential of this area. The reconstruction of the paleo-fluid flow channelway, based on hydrothermal mineral association, was taking into account for targeting sectors at Tresnuraghes district. The results suggest that Punta Allò and Salamura areas represent the shallower part of an epithermal system and they could overlie a precious metal mineralization.
