Negligible washcoat weight loss on monolithic catalysts is obtained by modifying the preparation of the slurry used for dip-coating, in particular by wet milling of the starting ceria or by colloidal cera addition. The as prepared monoliths showed reduced CO conversion, due to a partial penetration of the washcoat into the cordierite macropores, and improved selectivity to CO2, due to a better copper dispersion. They also showed improved resistance to deactivation in presence of CO2 and H2O.

Abstract
Negligible washcoat weight loss on monolithic catalysts is obtained by modifying the preparation of the slurry used for dip-coating, in particular by wet milling of the starting ceria or by colloidal cera addition. The as prepared monoliths showed reduced CO conversion, due to a partial penetration of the washcoat into the cordierite macropores, and improved selectivity to CO2, due to a better copper dispersion. They also showed improved resistance to deactivation in presence of CO2 and H2O.File in questo prodotto:
